THE OPENING OF THE SCHOOL OF HORSE

The School of horse was a great success this year. We had two very eager groups of return students come to go "Beyond The Clinic". The school was designed to be an in depth hands on immersion into trail, ranch, and performance development. Every morning included one hour of classroom activities going over psychology and concepts of the days activities, as well as a couple of hours in the arena working on performance and cattle work. The afternoons were mainly designated to the development of a good solid trail horse and trail riding program. One of the main highlights for the participants was the Horse Creek Treasure Hunt. Designed after the "Amazing Race" - Riders were split into teams of two and sent around the ranch to collect clues and complete optional tasks in order to make their way to the finish line. It was a great way for riders to put aside any confidence and trail issues and just get out and go for a goal. It was amazing to see what they were able to accomplish is such a short time. Special thanks to all of those that attended! We look forward to doing it again.

For those of you looking to advance your horsemanship "Beyond the Clinic", we will be opening the ranch again next year. This is truly a unique equine experience, a one of a kind! Keep posted for times. We will be offering early bird specials!

NEW ADDITION - JETHRO, "THE MINI-ME FRESIAN"

Joining us this year on the road was a partner for our little superstar Spanky. Standing just 34 inches tall, Jethro has been a great addition to Francesca's miniature horse trick and liberty routine. A rescue horse from Central Oregon, Jethro was placed in a home after being found abandoned in an irrigation ditch. Choosing to never give up, he is now back to 110% and has helped to inspire hundreds of horse people since he began his routine just a few months ago.

RETURNING TO BRITISH COLUMBIA!

Last year we arrived in Canada for our first clinic in British Columbia. Hosted by Twin Creeks ranch in Duncan we were greeted by many wonderful horse enthusiasts. We shared many tales, tricks, and techniques to gain a better partnership with our equine friends. Deborah Flinn was a great host and she brought in some wonderful people to ride with.

We will be once again be returning to B.C. for two more clinics (Aldergrove and Duncan), and one expo in just a couple of weeks.
