HORSE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
AT HORSE CREEK RANCH

For only the second time in nearly a decade, Steve Rother Horsemanship will be taking in a select number of horses for training this summer. Space is available for both colts and older horses needing more development.

New for this year, the ultimate in cross training! Send your horse for the first three weeks in Sept, and then join us for an entire week with your "new" horse. (If you send your horse in June you can come back for this week Oct 1 – 6 and still receive the reduced price).

You will be riding side by side with Steve and the apprentices to improve your communication skills between you and your horse.

Last year this very successful and popular program was completely full for both sessions.

2010 Dates:

Month 1: June 17th - July 13th
Month 2: Sept 3rd - September 30th

Fee:

$700 (approx 1 month) – includes board and training. Also included is a two-hour lesson with your horse (on pick-up day) so that we can help you continue the progress when you return home.

Feed:

Bring your own or $6 per day.

Deposit:

$350 must be paid to hold your spot. Balance will be due 30 days prior.

Some activities will include:

• Groundwork
• Desensitizing
• Confidence Building
• Liberty
• Horsemanship
• Freestyle Riding
• Cattle Work
• Basic Roping

Interested applicants can send in a short description (one page if possible) of why they would like to send their horse, as well as some background information such as age, breed, current level of training, problems needing to be addressed, etc…

Due to space, only a select number of horses can be accepted.
